Necessity sparks creativity

El Padre has designed so many useful things in our home.  I decided it might be fun to take a moment and share them with you.  It is helpful that you know three things:  1.) wood is very expensive  2.)  wood is often eaten by termites and 3.)  metal is also available, expensive and will rust

So here is a little tour around our home.

Our first!  This more than doubles our kitchen counter
space. It is our fridge rack with a wire support.

Closets are huge spaces here, so we added water
containers to break up the space.

The children's upper level of the fort - on the porch roof!
(it is completely enclosed so they stay in that section)

With it being so sunny here, a car cover is important.
We tried many options and realized a live vine option
would work the best.

This is our newest shelf.  Not for heavy things,
but perfect for the numerous assembled Legos in our home

As we collect more valuable suitcases, we found
a wire is helpful for their yearly storage. 

This simple shelf is so useful above my desk.
