Family Developments

We may need acrobats this year
Quick update on our family:  The biggest news is a few weeks ago it was confirmed that Easy-Teasy's hips have made no more progress in the past 6 months.  So we are planning to move forward with surgery.  Currently we are looking at surgery mid June and the end of August.  Our understanding is he will be in a cast 4.5 months and then require physical therapy.  El Padre and I will take medical leave at different times to spend extra time with him.

The second news is that we have not heard anything on Zig-Zag's citizenship application.  We are getting close to the wire if he is to gain citizenship this June when we enter the States.  (Still after we hear back from right Department there will be many other steps we will have to do.)  It will really complicate our lives if he doesn't get citizenship because the visas  they can get for the States are 90 days.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Both of these are discouraging, but we enter the New Year with hope and anticipation.  We are praying for 2020 to be a memorable year (in a good way) in our family and end with great mobile hips for our future 3 year old and two new citizens in our family.
