End of a Car Saga?

A lot has been going on, so we have been slower at communication, especially blogs. So one new thing is we bought a more reliable car!  This can bring with it unusual stresses kind of unique to living in the Sahel.  Like going to the ATM at night to make sure to pull enough money out for the car and pulling out $100 at a time in $4 bills, because that’s all the only working ATM had.  And then the ATM ate one of our cards…  But the new car is a much better fit for our needs of sometimes going on two track sandy roads to Bible schools or taking longer trips, as it is small but higher off the ground, has 4 wheel drive, and doesn’t need to be taken to the mechanic every other day because of parts falling off!  We were hesitant to go for a nicer car like this, but have felt the necessity and seen that two members of our local church and a handful of church members from elsewhere have this same model of car, so it isn’t too extravagant.  But you can still pray for us that this ends the final report in our own personal car saga.

Our new car from the 90's just arrived in country last year!
