March Prayer Requests

At this point there are so many things to pray for that we want to give some early prayer requests for the month.

Please pray for:

• the upcoming women's conference that Rachel will be attending in a city known for being less calm - for safety for all; for the teachings and fellowship at the conference to strengthen and challenge the women's faith 
• the elections - voting took place Sunday and. the results may be announced by the end of the week 
• more water - we had hopes we wouldn't have to wake up in the night to collect water this year, but it hasn't been true and our water supply and sleep are running low. 
• our guard and his wife - as they are so young with two children and are learning about marriage and taking care of their responsibilities. 
• Our partner church general assembly on this coming Friday and Saturday - for wisdom from the Holy Spirit to guide the leaders' decisions and that bringing praise to God's name may be the focus of the work. 
• adoption - for the paperwork to be presented to court this week, for a smooth court process, and for the favor of the judge and the state's lawyer. 

Give thanks for:

• Our first round of elections went off without a problem! 
• Our recent visit from our US church leaders and a frontier mission group went very well and they were able to travel to see many places! Looks like the beginnings of good relationships. 
• We are celebrating 13 years of marriage! 
• Our children are still sitting with the children in church and singing in the children's choir each week! 
• Our electricity has been very good so far - only going out occasionally. Although our house has already hit over 100 degrees, the heat is moister now but bearable with a fan.
