Taking a Village

We've almost cut it down to just the things we're really taking.  We're taking a village.  Because we've found that's what it takes, right?  Much like many of the other events in life, we're finding that moving to serve in another part of the world that you don't know much about takes a lot of helping hands.  People to give us extra suitcases, back-up our computers, stop by to say goodbye, find us more detailed information, pray for our sanity, make our photo-copies, bring us guitar accessories, and the list goes on. And so we're very grateful to all of you who have lent a hand or some encouragement and prayer, who are part of our "village" that sends us across many different boundaries to lend a hand and encouragement to others.  We do so taking the love that is in you and also hoping to take all of you along at least electronically!

After all these days of preparing, the day has come to board the plane.  So far the kids are taking all the craziness of packing well and going about their playing intently.  We do sense a little uncertainty and attention seeking, but we pray all the previous preparations and experiences of coming and going will serve them well.  Thanks for being a part of our village!
